Shipping policy
Attention Shop App Users
For users shopping our catalog using the Shop app, please note that important details such as lead times and final sale markers are missing from the data it's providing. You may also encounter issues with tracking your order in some cases depending on the carrier. While we endorse the usage of the Shop app, we recommend visiting our website product pages prior to ordering to ensure you're fully informed on your purchases.
General
Our shipping policy is designed for ease of understanding and use. By completing a purchase through shopriverside.ca or its affiliate third-party services, you agree and accept the following terms:
- Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing. Business days are considered, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm MST (excluding statutory holidays).
- Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can then track your shipment online through the carrier website.
- You can expect to see your parcel within 3-12 business days (depending on where you are located). Shipping times are not guaranteed.
- Refusal of packages regardless of the reason may incur return shipping fees.
Lead Times
- Items we carry come from a variety of warehouses across Canada. If your order contains multiple items at different warehouses, the processing time may increase to consolidate your order before shipping. This can take anywhere between 3-10 business days depending on the warehouse.
- Please check your cart before placing your order if you would like to know how long it will take before your order ships.
Selecting a different method of shipping will not affect the order lead time.
E-Bikes
- Depending on your shipping address, we may reach out to confirm home delivery or pick up from depot, and additional charges may apply to beyond or remote locations.
- Free shipping on E-Bikes does not include insurance, and is therefore shipped at the customer's risk. We will contact you post-purchase to clarify if you would like to add insurance. If you would like to inform us you'd like to insure the bike during transit, please reach out to shop@ridervierside.com
- Talaria electric bikes are excluded from our free shipping offer. Free shipping eligibility depends on the shipping destination.

Stryker Boats
- Stryker boats are excluded from our free shipping offer.
- Can only be held for pick up at a nearby depot due to their size. We may reach out to confirm which depot you'd like to have it sent to for your convenience.

Northern Territories
- The northern territories of Canada including Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut as well as remote areas that require air delivery do not qualify for free shipping, and additional delivery charges may apply.
- Goods qualifying as dangerous, such as batteries and compressed air canisters cannot be delivered up north. In the cases of batteries that come with acid packs, said acid packs can be removed from the package to allow them to ship. We will reach out to clarify upon order.
- Some products are too large to ship up north, and as such, you may experience a message at checkout telling you rates could not be found. In the event of this, please reach out to customer service, and we can devise a method of getting the product to you.
USA
Shipping to the USA is suspended until further notice. If you live in the USA and you'd still like something sent to you, please reach out to us at shop@rideriverside.com
Inspection Upon Delivery
We strongly encourage all customers to thoroughly inspect their order immediately upon delivery. If you notice any issues with your order, such as damaged items, incorrect products, or missing components, we kindly request that you report it to our customer support team within 14 days from the delivery date.
To help us better understand and resolve the issue, we may request additional information or evidence, such as clear photos or videos showcasing the problem. This will assist us in accurately assessing the situation and providing an appropriate solution.
Please note that if any issues are reported beyond the specified time frame of 14 days, we may not be able to process a replacement, refund, or take other necessary actions.
Handling
Special handling considerations such as the residential delivery of LTL shipments, tailgate service, dangerous goods, and non-stackable packages are not included in free shipping.
Large bulky items do not qualify for free shipping and may incur additional shipping fees. In these cases, we will contact you to confirm whether you would like to pay the additional fees, or to cancel your order. The order will be automatically cancelled if we receive no response within 48 hours.
Free shipping, discounts, discount codes, deals/offers, and price matching only apply to orders made online, and do not apply to orders made in person or by phone.
In cases of force majeure other extreme circumstances, you agree to communicate directly with shopriverside.ca via shop@riderriverside.com to resolve any refund requests or delivery issues. We reserve the right to act on your behalf with shipping service providers in order to address any shipping-related issues.
